Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC)

Advantages: Lasts a long time, easy to get the hang of, very enjoyable, great graphics and sound
Disadvantages: Needs a good PC to play.

Advantages: Graphically challenging the genre in places. Storyline is well constructed.
Disadvantages: Single player mode will only last 6 hours or more, depending on your ability.

...admit my addition now. Call of Duty(COD) have been butted up against the Medal of Honour series for years on PC and consoles. The latest incarnation takes you away from WW2 into Modern Day soldiering. I have not completed the game to date, but have a number of hours gameplay on the PC game. I will "not" post spoilers. The SAS missions in volve fighting against Russian Ultra Nationalists whilst the Marines combat Arabs (in an unnamed country, which by the map looks like Saudi Arabia).
