Advantages Advantages Most maps are Great, Graphics, Sounds, Online Play

Disadvantages Disadvantages WWII, Guns, some Maps are Boring

I loved COD 4: Modern Warfare as everything in it was modern. When I heard they were releasing COD 5: World at War, I was exstatic. I thought this game would be amazing until I heard that it would be back in WWII, which totally changed my mind. I then didn't think it would be that good until I got it. It is amazing, the graphics are amazing the sounds are amazing, everything is amazing. There is only something's that disappoint me on this game. ---Advantages--- 1) There are only a few maps online that I don't actually like unlike COD 4 whereas I hated most maps. 2) The graphics are amazing ... more

Advantages Advantages Fast paced, good ww2 action, lots of variety, very good graphics

Disadvantages Disadvantages character animations arent as good as COD4

Call of Duty 5: World at War, is the fifth installment in the call of duty series. However, it is worth mentioning here that it is made not by the original developers "Infinity Ward" but by another company called Treyarch who were responsible for Call of Duty 3 as well as some other games. Those that know call of duty 3 will know it was a bit rubbish, to be blunt. So when i heard that these chaps were making Call of Duty 5, i was less than impressed. Infinity Ward have always done a better job with the series. However, I gave it a chance and I am glad I did. My initial comment is that Call of ... more

Advantages Advantages Amazing Graphics - Amazing Gunfights - Amazing Sound effects

Disadvantages Disadvantages No cover system - Not the longest campaign

This game is superb - one of the best world war games out there - but i still think that brothers in arms hells highway is better. The graphics are the best I have personally seen on the PS3 console - only slightly better than COD4. The environments are spectacular - whether your in a jungle or a town street - it looks awesome - as good as looking out of the window at the same environments. There was times where i would cease fire and just look at how spectacular the environments are. The character models aren't the best I have seen - but they are very good - and like the rest of the game ... more

Advantages Advantages call of duty 4 but 60 years in the past, nazi zombies re just the best

Disadvantages Disadvantages just a copy of call of duty 4, not a bad thing just nothing new

Call of duty world at war i now have both call of duty world at war both on the Nintendo wii and the play station 3, after the first five minutes i decided that i would never play the wii version again, the ps3 version is so much better, with one extra mission in campaign, Nazi zombies which is worth £20, no lagg, more maps and multiplayer modes, campaign co-op and competitive co-op, way better visuals and most importantly dlc (downloadable content) although cost makes the game larger and more to do. i own also call of duty 4 modern warfare on the ps3, unfortunately even with no Nazi zombies ... more

    Advantages Advantages Vehicles, Zombies!.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Rushed, No improvement on COD4, Poor range of Vehicles.

Call of Duty was always the competetor against Medal of Honour almost every year. It was the equivalent of FIFA against Pro Evolution Soccer for a long time, before Call of Duty 4, that is. It blew all that we knew about the series out of the water. Medal of Honour: Airbourne had nothing over it. Its simple gameplay made for easy use and controls that are now considered standards for first-person shooters. However seeing that Treyarch and Infinity Ward took turns at making the games, there was a problem. Would Treyarch be able to live up to what Infinity Ward had done. With the press on its ... more
