Call of Duty: World at War has arrived just over one year from its earlier game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as released, Modern Warfare met with outstanding critical playing and World at War is likey to receive similar attention because it is very similar, in one sence this is a good thing, World at War reserves a lot of element that made Modern Warfare great, to weapons, mature fast pase action and deep engaging multiplayer system. In another sense this feel on simulatity works against World of War, though the new WWII error campaign is emotional and exiting,there's no getting away from the fact this is formilure territory for anyone who's played first person shooters before, another of a few noble weapons, the flame thrower, and the bayenette. Most of the other weapons (been there done that) feel, while World at War is refined and well crafted, it laks that fresh and unique feel that makes Modern Warfare so special, but don't get me wrong,just because it isnt fresh doesnt mean it's rotten, far from it, World at War is a great game and the new campaign is arguably more emotional that of Modern Warfare, this is pacially down to the setting, you alternate between the massive virtual push of the russian army's invasion of germany and the brutal tooth and nail American campaign in the pacific islands. In both setting you are consiantly accompanied by a superior officer.

Slightly less mature but equally exiting is the multi-player action. World at War includes online cooperative play, which is a real step forward for a new series. You can play threw campaign levels with up to four people, and as you battle your way threw you'll earn points for each kill, kill assist, or team mate revive. Its more than fun trying to keep your score high and even more fun to try and outscore your friends. The other cooperative mode playable when you complete the campaign or play with someone who has is called natzey zombies. You and three other players are hold up in a house while natzey zombies try to break in to prefably to eat your brains. Each round bring faster stronger and more numerous zombies. Cause not all multiplayer is cooperative, World at War has pretty much copied Modern Warfare multiplayer system, this is a good thing because Modern Warfare totally nailed it when it came to online multiplayer. The hook here is experience by wining matched and challenges. You can unlock new guns accessories and perks, perks do anything from buck your defence and amp up for bullet power, and they also do some unique stuff like revive team mates, spot enemy boobie traps, or leave a live grenade behind when you die, they really spice things up for the game.
