gaming and thrusting players into the final tension-filled, unforgiving battles against a new ferocious enemy in the most dangerous and suspenseful action ever seen in WWII. Powered by Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare technology, Call of Duty: World at War brings an uncensored edge to combat, as soldiers face the most harrowing and climatic European and Pacific battles in which an enemy, who knows no surrender and no retreat, will fight to the last breath, unleashing an arsenal of lethal surprising tactics. Peril and danger lurk throughout the battlefield as players combat the unknown risk of the new chaos of battle. From the remains of Russia and the ruins of Berlin, to the beach and jungles of the deadly Pacific Theater, the volatile action takes on added depth as players employ new features that previously were only-available in multiplayer, including perks, rankings and online stats in up-to full four-player cooperativegameplay. New infantry and vehicle-based weapons, like the potent flamethrower, bring the battlefield ablaze.

Advantages: nice sound, Smooth aim, great graphics Disadvantages: can get grainy at times , controlls take time getting used to
World At War is one of the first successful shooter for the ds. It pushes the ds to its complete limits . You now have to utilize your cover and grenades . The story line is a little short but challenge feature and awards add more dept to the game . Going through the levels shooting up your enemies is satisfying . Using the stylus to aim works perfectly allowing you to aim for the head and get a one hit kill. The gameplay is fairly smooth and fast pace but you have to keep in mind its only a ds so its not nearly as exiting as playing on a 360 but for rides in the bus it just about does the job. Online play is great. It holds up to 4 player and has games such as death match , capture the flag , and sort of a juggernaut type game. Each game type supports team and free for all. The levels are small but big enough so your not running into each other at the same place every time. Multilayer runs extremely smooth. The sound for this game is awesome and i recommend playing with earphones. Overall its a pretty good downsized version of cod . I would recommend buying if your a fps fan
Advantages: Great graphics and sound, they went all out on the online multiplayer Disadvantages: Controls can cramp up hands
Call of Duty: World at War is a great FPS (first person shooter) for the DS. When I purchased this game, I really wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to take a while to complete the main missions, and even longer to complete the special ones. The graphics are as good as they can get on the DS, and the sound is just as good as it would be on a PS2. The controls, however, are very original. You use the touch screen to adjust your view and turn. ... ...keys (or the A, B, Y, and X keys if your left-handed like me) to move forward and to strafe. Although it feels very weird the first time you play, after a while, they become very easy to use, and you can become very precise in your shots. The only downside is, if your using a DS Lite (like me) or a DSi, the controls will cramp up your hands after a while. I also feel I must mention the online multiplayer mode, as it is THE BEST online play I've experienced ...
