I SMELL........wait, don't leave. When I say I smell, I don't mean as in Pepe L'Peu, well not usually. So, how DO I smell? - By inhaling through my nostrils and engaging my olfactory sensors, just like everybody else. (the old ones are the best)

I smell.....nice. I've just had a shower, shampoo, shave and a sh....let's not go there. I'm all spruced up and washed up (or is that washed out), groomed within an inch of my life, and smelling like.....well, like I've been liberally doused with Calvin Klein. Not one to turn down the offer of a quick nibble and perchance a beer, I humbly obliged. (I hope we're not going to a karaoke pizza place to mix with the rabble!)

I SAY:-
Perfume? What the..... calling it perfume is really going to open up the male market, isn't it?. I thought this was aftershave. Oh well, I suppose I should have guessed that an alcohol-based substance with fragrant essences and oils added to it is a million miles away from an aftershave.
It does feel quite refreshing but I don't know about oriental. What does oriental smell like anyway? I'm afraid I really can't detect all the fragrances they claim. It's certainly got a musk tone to it and I can definitely sense the orangey, citrus aromas that I suspect must be the mandarin. As for peaches? well, it's a little fruity but I couldn't define it further than that.
Come to think of it, it has a much stronger bouquet than a standard aftershave, so maybe that's what makes it a perfume. One thing is certain though, it has an almost overwhelming alcohol smell, in fact it's very like Gordon's gin with a slice of lemon.....I won't be drinking it though.....not again.
You could say it was convenient that it's a unisex fragrance, but that's nothing new. Wifes and girlfriends have been using unisex fragrance for years - Mrs P is always 'borrowing' my stuff.
THE VERDICT:-
CK be has a pleasant enough aroma and it's not overpowering or too cloying. It seems to linger quite well, only slowly fading. Also, the aroma isn't particularly masculine, or feminine, so I guess they've got that right. There are nicer fragrancesmon the market, but this isn't too bad at all, and the good thing is that you can go half stuff with your partner on a bottle. Thanks for reading

...BE Women and Men / CALVIN KLEIN The concept of a fragrance that is made for both a man and a woman is relatively new to me. When I was in my younger years I would wear all of the basic manly smelling colognes and aftershaves like English Leather, Canoe, Old Spice, Hai Karate and Brut. But back then I did not give much thought about how I smelled, I would just walk into my local drug store and buy what ever I thought most men were wearing, what ever ... ...makes it impossible for people to figure out what I’m wearing and that adds even more mystery to an already mysterious Mr. Stockholder. I received a 50ml bottle of CK Be on my birthday from my girlfriend. I opened the little black box to reveal the smooth textured bottle from which I poured a few drops onto my hand. My nose was greeted by an aroma of fruity flowers with a pleasant woody smell, which would appeal to both a man or woman. The smell is not so strong it will leave you gasping for fresh air, nor will it leave you smelling nothing but fresh air - The strength is just above ... ...hours or so. I am very conscientious when it comes to expensive aftershave. I hate to see any expensive fragrance being wasted, and I knew one day I would foolishly tilt the bottle to an extreme obtuse angle and waste half of it, so I chose to fit the spray adaptor which was contained within the box. It was only after fitting this little device I realised that the bottle would no longer fit in it’s box. Being a proud owner of such an aftershave I ...

I first decided that i liked this particular fragrance some time last year when my brother came back from shopping with bags full of different perfumes and face products, CK Be being one of them -
I had seen the perfume before as i own CK one and have seen the very similarly designed, CK Be on many occasions although i had never smelt it for myself. I could smell my brother wearing it one day and was pleased to be informed that this lovely fragrance ... ...The bottle of 220ml has lasted well over 8 months now as you dont need to use as much as you might with other perfumes. It is not a strong fragrance but can only be described as cooling and subtle. The bottle is a very good design, exactly the same style, design and shape as CK one with a handy atomizer nozzle which sprays a fine mist over you.
The bottle is also good for men who want to just 'slap-it-on' as you can remove the nozzle and pour a ...

I place a lot of significance on my perfume cos I believe that humans rarely forget what they smell, and an aroma can always make you relive a moment in the past. Also, often people remember other peoples' odours and would think of that person straight away as soon as they sense that specific perfume or smell. That's why I have always tried to find just the right perfume to represent myself to other people, and trust me I have tried many. At the ... ...I still have not found the right thing. However, I don't deny I have fallen in love with the so sexy smell of CK Be although I can't bring myself to use it personally.
I first experienced this fragrance standing nearby a male friend, and on that day, I was literally sniffing him up all day, quite embarassing to say the truth but it is just such an attractive smell to the opposite sex. It's not one of those floral or fruity smell and it's completely ...

I have to say that this is a really sexy smell, that totally attracts the opposite sex.
It's perfect for both men and women, and totally obliterates classic bodge (nasty, unattractive body odour).
I can't help it, if a man is wearing this, I totally cling to him, like a thin film of plastic round a cheese and pickle sandwich.
It has both a floral quality, touched with the wand of masculinity.
It is of utmost benefit for those of you out there, ... ...has the staying power of Sir Cliff Richard.
Simple packaging, and can be worn both day and night.
Lads, do you remember what a great effect "Jazz" had on the girls at school? (if you were born around 1970something)- (I wasn't, mind you). Well, it's better than that!
Gentlemen, slap it all over, as opposed to "Brut" or "Old Spice" - for these are not good. (pretty repulsive actually).

After testing this perfume in Boots a few months back, I decided that I really liked it and asked for a bottle for my birthday, however, I didn't get it. So I decided to ask again at Christmas, this time I was more successful =]
Clavin Klein IN2U comes in a gold, shiny cuboid box. It clearly states on the front the name and the weight of the product. Mine is currently a 50ml bottle. Personally, I think the box is quite modern and sophisticated, and has a feminine touch to it.
The bottle itself is wider at the bottom and funnels up towards the top. It has a small pull on/off lid, The glass bottle is coated in white plastic 3/4 of the way down has has ck IN2 U her engraved into the plastic.

Today the Badger will be reviewing one of the first fragrances to enter his collection, CK One, a revolutionary unisex fragrance from CalvinKlein.
Launched in 1994, CK One was the first fragrance to be released onto the market branded for both males and females, and in a blaze of publicity became the fragrance of the 1990's. It was seen as hip, cool and just that little bit different to other fragrances on the market. Since it's launch and it's overwhelming popularity, a further unisex fragrance was launched in the late 1990's imaginatively titled CK One B.
The reason I'm reviewing this fragrance today is because yesterday I came into possession of a further 100ml bottle of CK One for the princely sum of £5! Normally you can expect to pay around £20.00 for a 50ml bottle making it an accessible and fairly cheap fragrance ...

CK One was one of the first fragrances from the American fashion designer CalvinKlein. This perfume was launched in 1994 and is a fragrance suited to men and women. It is one of several perfumes in the CalvinKlein range, for example there are CKBe and Contradiction to name a few.
The packaging of CK One is fairly minimalist. The box is a plain stone grey/beige colour with silver writing denoting the CK logo. The box is pretty uninteresting and does not contain any details about whether or not the fragrance has been tested on animals or not. What it does say is that the packaging is made from 100% completely recycled materials. There is a list of ingredients on the box, which apparently include Alcohol, Water, Parfum, EDTA, Tetrasodique (I do not know what the last word is as it was in French on the box).
