As stated in my previous perfume review for my birthday last year I was very fortunate in the fact that I had a great array of perfumes. One of the perfumes was Eternity from Calvin Klein from my Aunty; I had smelt this before as there always seems to be a bottle of this at my moms too. (It’s one of her favourites)

Eternity was created by Calvin Klein in 1988, and the range has since grown to match the needs of the modern day women of the world.

I do enjoy to watch the advertisements for fragrances as I always like to see if the image poretrade matches the scent they claim. (In this case it sure does!)

Calvin Klein Eternity for Women:

The Notes:

Top Notes: fresh citrus and green notes, violet and lily-of-the-valley.
Heart Notes: spicy carnation, floral notes.
Base Notes: powdery Heliotrope, pink sandalwood and light musk.

My Opinion:

This scent for me reminds me of a summer’s day out with a loved one, finding the aromas soft and romantic (odd how smells can pop up some memories). It has for me a very loving feel, though was created back in 1988 this will easily compete with any modern perfume of today.

All the notes within this perfume combine so pleasantly together, with violet and sandalwood I find stands out a little more for me. Perfume I find does differ slightly from person to person, like when my mom has it on it seems to smell sweeter, why that happens I don’t know.

Eternity isn’t like name by nature as I find the sent lasts around four to five hours which isn’t bad for a perfume in my eyes. Though after about four hours the perfume does fade but still leaves a mild scent lingering on your skin.

It’s a perfect special day out perfume as I tend to use this one if me and my fiancé have booked a day out somewhere. The smell puts me in a romantic mood, when I use this perfume I do get the “Oh you smell nice today” from my partner. Which I never quite know how to take it as if it’s a compliment or not, like in you smell nice today for once!

The perfume bottle is a spray dispenser, which I find very handy as you just push down on the top and it sprays out. I personally detest the open neck bottles, if you knock them over the perfume just pours out all over the place. At least with a spray bottle you know you’re safe! (Even for accident prone me)

The bottle itself is not the most attractive perfume bottle I’ve seen; it’s a slender, long rectangular shape with an odd T kind of shaped top, for this one the smell does make up for its appearance!

Overall:

I love Calvin Klein Eternity and I can’t recommend this perfume enough, its soft loving feminine scent I think will suit/attract a great audience range of women. Its reasonably priced, good staying power, like with most decent perfumes a little goes along way so will last you ages.

Calvin Klein is a name most people will know not only do they do wonderful fragrances; they also have a huge line of clothes from - jeans, underwear, sleepwear, hosiery, swimwear, make up, jewellery, coats, suits, shoes the list goes on! I for one love the range of purses they do too. Calvin Klein was founded in the late 1960’s (1968) in Manhattan, New York where they first started in the fashion industry and soon ventured out.
