Being interested in good quality audio but never really owning a good quality system myself, i decided to splash out on my very own system.
I went along to my local Richer Sounds looking for a CD player, speakers and Amp. I was looking to spend between £300-400, the cambridge audio equipment came highly recomended.
When I got it home the A5 amp sounded brilliant. Having the amp makes a real difference to the sound quality, when compared to a normal hi-fi unit. For around £120 you get an amp of a more than decent standard at a pretty low price.
All controls on the front are easy to use, bass, treble, volume, mode select etc. The traditional inputs are available, CD, tuner, tape, phono, minidisc. Additionally I could plug my ps2 and dvd player into it as well, allowing terrific sound output from them as well.
Overall great performance at an affordable price. for anybody curious about good quality audio systems, this is a perfect amp to get you going.
