Sony Handcam DCR SR55E
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR55E by Kulsum

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Less than attractive appearance

I have been using this product for a lengthy period of time, and have found it easy to use, despite my lack of technical experience. I was abl e to use all features with little difficulty, and feel that the price is suitable for the quality of both the product itself and the photos it priduces. It is a perfect size, and easy to carry around, therefore for holiday travellers, it is perfect for making photos to remember your holiday times. I have ... Read review

I have owned this camera for over 6 months now and used it in many situations. I hope to help you make a decision on if you want to buy it or not. I will write about a point, and then do a summery of what i was saying, just incase i ramble on a bit! First thing i will ...

Take One - Action!
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR52E by BlueMidget

Advantages: Great camcorder, easy to use and excellent quality
Disadvantages: Not within everybody's price-range

...Eventually, he decided that the Sony DCR-SR52 was suitable for everything his ‘current’ model did, with many, many additional features too. You may question how I can review what is essentially my father’s camera. Well, having a fairly large family there is almost always an excuse for family get together’s and therefore plenty of video opportunities. I, for some reason that I haven’t entirely been able to explain, nearly always find myself as the ...
...encounter in most programmes, but Sony have decided to ignore the tried and tested method and sadly this makes it not quite as user-friendly as it could have been. ~~~ Cost ~~~ The camcorder’s RRP is around the £450 region; however there are some excellent offers to be had with this particular model – we managed to save £100 on the RRP by buying it via Amazon, but I’m sure if you were to shop around you could find some other great value deals. ... A great camera
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR30E by FrancescaTimbers

Advantages: slim, waterproof camera and offers antishake
Disadvantages: Sound not of great quality

This small handy digital camcorder is a point-and-shoot model offering a number of great technologies such as Green/blue screen, Stabilization, light capture technology and touchscreen editing as well as a powerful zoom in/out, All-Weather body design. Sometimes water and photography are a bad combination, limiting outdoor photography options when rain, snow or sleet are involved. However, this digital camcorder can go virtually anywhere. The aluminium ...
...be held in one hand during recording without the picture going jagged. Battery life also extremly long and battery is lightweight so spares can easily be transported along with the camera if you require. Sound quality not quite up to the same superior quality of the picture, and can be slightly echoed/fuzzy/disorted but all together a great camera! Would reccomend. ... Read review

Small is Beautiful
Review of Sanyo HD1000 by fubaringly

Advantages: Size, price, video quality
Disadvantages: DVD creating due to fps rate

This Sanyo camcorder is apparently an attempt to capture both the video and still photo market and offer both types of customers one product. The first thing I have to comment on is the super stylish design, this thing it just great looking, it's also very small and light (just 300g). When I first picked one up I couldn't resist the temptation to pretend it was some kind of start trek phaser, I also had a strange urge to try and shave with it! ...
...easily but is it any good? Well the digital camera is only 4 mega pixels which frankly is not high enough these days. The video recording is full HD 1,920 x 1,080d and I think very good quality, It's the same standard found on many higher cost camcorders from other companies. One of the reasons the cam is so compact is because it uses flash memory cards, which is great for transferring footage. A big disappointment is that a SD card is not included ... Read review
