Brilliant budget camara
Review of Panasonic NV GS230 by
tomc123
Advantages: Easy to use and very very cheap
Disadvantages: no lens cover and no built in light
This is the new Panasonic NV GS230. This is an incredibly versitile little camera and at the price is very affordable. This is a very easy camera to use and its functions are very easy to understand although they are quite basic but if your like me and don't want hundreds and thousands of little buttons flashing at you it is perfect.
Now before you ask i know this is a mini dv camera so i know its not the most recent in camera technology but i really ... ...unless your filming for amateur films or something i really cant see the need to spend that much more when mini dv is perfectly acceptable in fact is more than adequate and is excellent value for money.
For stills this camera offers 2.3 mega pixels not brilliant but if you want good stills use your digital camara!! its not what its built for.
The camara also offers SD storage for that extra memory space which i personally find very useful.

Panasonic's little marvel
Review of Panasonic NV GS60 by
LHPMEDIA
Advantages: Ease of use, ability to do the job
Disadvantages: no headphone socket or mic input
I am a professional film maker. most times I shoot with Canon XM2 cameras. The tech spec of this interested me, its seems the money gone into the camera spec, not the frills. Ease of use is a big plus, easy to hold steady with both hands and the zoom..well superb. A brilliant all rounder and cheap enough to buy two which I did. Ebay offers them at around £130 and compared to other cameras in that range there is little competion. Picture quality is ... ...the sound, here it could be better, but hey a piece of dense foam infront of the mic makes a big difference, i can live with that. As a first and only camera you could make a film for Tv no problem, as a second/third cam on a shoot, I challenge you to spot the difference on most occasions between this and a camera 10x the price! Buy it. www.LAURENCEHOGGPRODUCTIONS.co.uk ...

Very good video camcorder at a reasonable price
Review of Panasonic e.cam NV GS180 by
mikesmount
Advantages: Excellent video
Disadvantages: No stabilisation in widescreen
The Panasonic 180 is the "entry level" 3CCD camcorder from Panasonic. I bought mine from Currys at just under £300.
For me, picture quality is the one essential that a camcorder must deliver, and the Panasonic 3CCD cameras deliver tjhis in spades. The pictures you can get from the cheapest in the range are every bit as satisfying as those from all but the very top, "pro-am", camera at several hundred pounds more.
Having set up a cinema system at ... ...wife bought me the Panasonic 180 as a birthday gift, and I have to say it is a revelation. The "3CCD" imaging system is a true leap forward in home video photography. With one capture device for each of the three primary colours, the definition is greatly improved. Perhaps It is not quite up to DVD or broadcast standard, but it does not fall far short. But the really amazing thing is the totally life-like colour rendition. Overall, the imaging is ...

Panasonic nv-gs11b
Review of Panasonic NV GS11B by
lesleyanne18
Advantages: Great Quality
Disadvantages: Poor Battery Life
...new video camera - A panasonic NV GS11B - An excellent camera for personal use, Made in Japan
I am using this camera to video a fictional crime scene - an assignment. And having never using a video camera before i was dreading even touching it incase i done something wrong.
The Packaging
before i purchased my camera I read through the packaging to find out all the features which were included, and i personally really liked how the packaging was ... ...its just too much, so panasonic got my attention and got the sale.
The Look of the Camera
The camera was silver in colour with a faded black surround and a rubber eye area where you look through.
it has an on and off button and photoshoot mode, quick start button and a volume control slider - these are the main controls on the outside of the camera. Thankfully it was all easy to understand as they all had labels to tell me what each thing did. ...

Superb little entry level camcorder
Review of Panasonic e.cam NV GS37B by
richard1506
Advantages: Small, light, 30 x optical zoom, good battery
Disadvantages: Can be awkward to use, no firewire cable
...best price/zoom combination was the Panasonic NV-GS37, which, as it was the display model, had a discount. I paid, and took it home to prepare the camcorder for the next day. The first thing that surprised me was the size of it, and I wondered how the tape could possibly fit into the camcorder. It slides in horizontally on the right hand side, under the grip belt, which, awkwardly, has to be moved out of the way. The next thing was the size of the ... ...had plenty of power to record the whole of the game's action (55 min stop/start) but had sufficient power to rewind, and then replay the unedited tape. The 30 x optical zoom was amazing, far better than the previous camcorder. However, the 1000 x digital zoom is pointless. The controls are easy to use, with the play/pause button operated by the right hand thumb, and the zoom operated by right hand index finger. The still facility (photo shot), is ...
