Advantages: Weight and Size, Recording Quality, Zoom, Features
Disadvantages: Battery Life, Uploading onto a computer

I believe that this camcorder is one of the best on the market for it's money and it has everything that I could ask for in a camcorder. The first thing I noticed about it was its weight. It's incredibly light. This is a great priority as I love to ...

Advantages: Everything, it has so much.
Disadvantages: It is small and lightweight (!) so not as impressive as my previous Canon, but SOOOO much lighter.

Before this I had a high end Canon, a big impressive looking mini DV beast that cost several thousand to buy. I thought it was great. Then I went pure digital and made the jump to this little camera. I have never looked back. I now make super high quality ...

Panasonic - not pro perfection, but still a pleasing past time

Advantages: easy to use, fits well in hand, good quality results
Disadvantages: software doesn't work with new computer systems ie. Windows 7/8, photos not great

As a professional photographer I've never really had much of an interest in video – until last year I still owned a Sony Hi8 camcorder that used to be my mum's and hadn't been put to use for about 4 years. If ever the urge took me to video anything I'd do ...
