Even I can use this! Great quality film and big hard drive.

Advantages: 20 hr hard drive & expandable flash, good zoom, great ergonomics, very small, light and tough
Disadvantages: screen a little bit fiddly, very poor stills,

My husband and I bought this video camera after our first daughter was born when we were baffled by the variety of cameras on offer. We needed something that we could actually pick up and use quickly to capture first steps etc. I must say that we were not dissapointed. Advantages: cheap and easy to use
Disadvantages: DVD disks unreliable and difficult to import video to PC

Found this camcorder very easy to use the controls were very user friendly. Single record stop button and zoom in and out toggle switch. You have the option to use the viewer or the pull out LCD screen whilst recording. The LCD screen can be flip around 180 degrees to allow playback and editing of the stored clips. Video quality is not bad for the 800k pixel sensor, it does struggle in poor light though. The camera snap feature is poor resolution. ...

GOOD STARTER CAMERA

Advantages: Adaptable to wide range of lighting situations
Disadvantages: Audio - mini jack input only

As a video artist I wanted to find a camera that could deliver great audio and visual quality for a cheap price. I have to be honest and say I couldnt be happier with my purchase.
