SONY HDR-FX1 IS FANTASTIC!

Advantages: HDV 1080i, LCD Monitor, Hundreds of Professional Features and the Carl Zeiss 1,6/4,5-54 T* Lens
Disadvantages: Ultra sensitive manual focus that takes some getting used to.

I purchased this camera just over a year ago and it has experienced lots of use and has never let me down. It has been brilliant and offers a very high quality for the price and even allows for HDV capture. ^^^Main Advantages^^^ There are hundreds ...

See It - Hold It - Use It!!

Advantages: Prize and end result
Disadvantages: Sound and lens!

Well I gotta admit that I mainly chose the FX1 for its looks which is probably wrong of me to say. But you have to see it, hold it and use it and then you'll realize that its not just the good looks that makes it such an amazing camera. The balance is sup ...

LOOK like a pro!

Advantages: dirt cheap, looks pro, looks cool with my 35mm adapter
Disadvantages: front heavy, no idx battery available

I'm actually satisfied with the camera, mainly because of it's cheap pricetag. You will look the part when filming a wedding or something similar. In the eyes of a non-pro, you will look like you're wielding a very expensive pro-grade camera. Real pro's o ...
