Advantages: Light weight and easy to use
Disadvantages: Locks slightly stiff at first (but they need to be to do their job!)

I purchased this item a couple of months ago and really wished I had purchased it many months sooner. It has been a great help to the cricket photography I have been doing over the summer as it has taken the strain off my back and arms, and allowing the use of manual focus on high speed sports photography to gain some excellent shots.
