This is the mail order company I bought my Nikon anti-fog eyepiece from. They said they had a shop, in Brighton, so I got on the train one Saturday morning, and found the shop about 20 minutes walk from the main station. This shop is small! There is plenty of equipment on display in the window, with prices to suit all pockets. WOW! I have never seen so many Nikon bits all in one place before. A good selection of secondhand cameras, lenses, flashes, and so on. Plus they had absolutely piles of new accessories. I picked up a Nikon 77mm UV filter, and hood, for my recently acquired 80-200mm F2.8. What's more, the guy behind the counter was knowledgeable, and friendly. They even have a chair at the counter for the customer. It seems that this kind of shop is rapidly going out of fashion, with the multiple retailers buying every business they see. As a comparison, I walked to the nearest Jessops, just 15 minutes walk away. This is a much bigger shop, lots of fancy displays, computers, and so on. ...complete without stopping buy at Camera Direct. It has an excellent range of products which are set out in an easy to navigate fashion. The shop supplies anything to do with cameras plus many other electrical appliances. If your looking for a digital video camera or a 32 inch television your sure to find it in the Camera Shop. The staff are exceptionally helpful eventhough many of them seem only 16. If you are in any doubt over what you are buying ...

Argos.co.uk is a great example of how online shopping should be. It is easy to find what you want and can even use the good old catalogue to find the goods you want and then place the order online by using the product number (saving the time searching for the item).
How many people do you know who haven't bought from Argos? not many! Argos is a respectable brand name, a name you can trust, one would say. If you have read any of my other opinions on online shops, you'll know that I did all my xmas shopping online and used a variety of shops.
