Advantages Sometimes absence makes the heart founder

Disadvantages Distance is a barrier, people need companionship.

Distance relationships can work provided that there is some sort of communication and ocassionally meeting each other, but one must keep in mind where is this relationship going. Living apart will be difficult through time, compromise will eventually be the only option available. I was transfered to another country and separated from my family, because of our childern's school my wife and i decided its best to stay apart and i would travel every 3 months to visit my family. This did not work we eventually missed each other and within two and a half months moved my wife and kids to live with me and found new schools for them. It may be difficult but choices have to be made good or bad.
