To live without the internet would bring my life to a stand still, and thats a fact. I use the internet to shop, pay bills, save money.....the list goes on. The internet has become the best thing since the invention of the pc itself. Its a must for everyday life. Some might say thats a bad thing but i disagree. Without the internet we would have less jobs, less income and still have shops allowing to charge large prices for small items.
The internet has, in my opinion, has opened up life as we know it to a wider world than we could ever have without out it. I have stayed connected with freinds and family hundreds of miles away and made new freinds thousands of miles away.
With the ability to read letters, in the form of email, and reply in minutes keeps my life and job at a faster pace then ever imagined 10 years ago, thanks to fibre optics and high speed broadband.
If someone rings me on my mobile, eg, and i dont know the number i even use the internet to check that out.
I also use the internet for online gaming. I have been gaming for years and my goal used to be to finish a game. Now i dont even buy most games for the game, i buy it for the online multiplay. In all honesty i only play the game itself with psn or xbox live is down..............i have just thought of a down side!!!!!
The only downside is that maybe we are too reliant on the internet. When servers crash and connections cannot be made our lifes, in some cases, can be stopped in its tracks, but that is the only downside to the www.
