...I was given this for christmas bacause of my well known love of candy floss. I'd wanted one for a while and was not disappointed . One tablespoon of normal granulated sugar makes a pretty impressive wad of candy floss. The unit is quite large but the box has easily slotted into some unused nook. It fits together easily and only takes a few minutes to heat up. Its not too loud either so doesn't become an annoyance. The maker comes with a set of sticks and it's easy to get the hang of catching the candy floss with tips from the handy instruction manual. It would be a really exciting gift for any child or adult alike. It comes apart for cleaning, but make sure it has cooled properly as the middle where the candy floss is produced is metal. Advantages: Goood Draw and Shelf Space
Disadvantages: Frost Free System Crap

...As my old faithfull fridge and freezer was a Candy I thought I would stick with a brand I knew. I opted for a frost free version to save on those dreaded defrost days. The Freezer remains frost free but the fridge is a nightmar. At present is about 2 inch thick in ice at the back which I keep having to remove. I have tried lowering the fridge settings etc but nothing stops the ice. I often find salad produce frozen. I am at present waiting for a response from Candy regarding this but all I keep getting from customer services is just trial and error with the fridge settings!. It will be the last time I buy anything from Candy as there after sales service is as rubbish as this fridge.... Read review

Advantages: like the fairground

...Whilst watching Sop tv on cable they showed a candy floss maker for £29.99 It looked good and as my partner has a sweet tooth I decided to purchase one. what you do is add sugar, not normal sugar but brown rtc to the middle of this gadget and wait 5 mins until it heats up then hey presto along comes the candy floss or its supposed to. On Tv it was making it quiet fast however now that we have purchased one we have found that it is a slow gadget and not really all that its cracked up to be, the only advantage was thatn in the box you got free hats streamers etc for a party, but whats the point if you cant make cady floss in a hurry ;-( I give it 1 point out of 10...
