I have had my Candy fridge freezer for a few years now and am happy with it; it does exactly what it's supposed to do and keeps the things in the fridge section frozen and the items in the freezer solidish, that's if you don't count the massive lumps of ice that builds up periodically.
My previous one was inadvertently stabbed and started leaking cooling fluid everywhere! It was a scene likened to a murder movie and after keeping my milk in the pantry and it turning to yoghurt (as I was too poor to buy a fridge) I was given this as a "gift". It was very nice to have a fridge again and I rushed out and filled the fridge up. The next day I went and opened the fridge and found that everything on the bottom shelf was frozen solid and the top shelf had water crystals on it. I checked that I hadn't turned the dial to cold but it was fine and though as it was just because it had been moved a fair distance it had to settle and all would be fine. For the next few months I found that I had to turn the cooling dial right to its lowest level or everything would freeze and even though it was turned to low I still can't put thing in the back of the fridge but at least my milk was staying milk!
Now the freezer unit you might think would be brilliant if the fridge can almost double as a freezer too but you would be wrong. Yes it froze so you can argue it did its job but it also was a "frost free", it was not! I have to often break open the drawers as they tend to have frozen solid with ice! I have called the help line on numerous occasions and they have been incredibly helpful but because it was a gift and not bought by me they couldn't meet the warranty agreement. They have told me that it is the seals on the freezer door that are causing it to open slightly and the freezer is over working and freezing solid. But they couldn't help about the fridge acting like a freezer; I think it has delusions of freezerdom!
other than this the fridge has plenty of room for food for myself and my partner for two weeks (and we like our food...a lot) there are two shelves, two door shelves I think there were meant to be three but we only had two and it has a crisper draw too. The freezer has four drawers with plenty of space for all the frozen food you need. The capacity for the fridge is 165 litres and the freezers capacity is 90 litres.
All in all the fridge and freezer do what they are meant to do but do them to well.
