I've had this appliance for nearly a month, but already I can tell the difference between this and my old one. It washes clothes brilliantly, which I need with a 2 year old in the house. And is quiet whilst on the spin cycle. Which to me is a big advantage as my kitchen is right next to my living room.

It's a nice looking machine too. It does take quite a while for a cycle to complete, approximately 2-3 hours depending on what cycle you have put it on. Obviously handwash and other shorter cycles don't takes as long. But it's well worth waiting the extra time because the clothes are spotless when they come out, and practically dry.

Before I had the Servis M6006 and compared to this one that was rubbish. I only had it 15 month and it broke down on me. So this was my replacement item and I am over the moon with the performance. I will definately buy this make again!! Candy also manufactor for the Hoover brand too.

This was my replacement item for the Servis washer from Littlewoods catalogue, who I use quite regularly. With them if you need a replacement item you can choose which one you want up to the same value of what you paid for your old one. The catalogue price was £299 but you got a free Swan hoover with it worth £29. But it was my replacement item so I didn't have to pay for it.

It has numerous features such as stain vanish which doesn't prolong the cycle. Allergy care which is good to use on towels and jeans as it uses more water to rinse the clothes meaning that more of the soap powder is washed out. Good for people with skin allergys such as eczema.

It also has a fast wash option shortening the cycle of no more than 50 minutes depending on the cycle you have picked. It has something called fuzzy logic. Which is a kind of artificial intelligence. Which as soon as you start the machine the activa smart is set in motion. This adjusts the amount of water required, determines the length of the cycle and controls rinsing. Plus according to the type of fabric selected to be washed it adjusts the rhythm of the drum rotation, recognises the presence of lather, increasing if necessary the amount of water during the rinsing cycle. And adjusts the spin speed according to the load.

All you have to do with this machine is pick the cycle you want to use and the temperature and it does the rest for you. Choosing between hundreds of possible wash combinations.

It has a quick wash feature of 32 minutes being washed at 50oc. But you can only put in 2kg max.

All in all this is an excellent machine with a 6kg drum so you can fit 20% more clothes in cutting down on the number of wash loads you have to do. Convenient for people with larger familys. And very easy to use, and understand.
