Well today, Sunday the 8th February, the new replacement cooker arrived, all packed as it left the factory, it was unpacked and when I inspected it I found the following:
1) 4 of the timer buttons jammed in when pressed.

Purchase on the 24th January, in the sales, it was brand new and in its original packing, when unpacked, the grill control assembly was found to be adrift and unusable. We had to arrange with Cannon for a replacement, after being told there woud be a 10 day wait for service. A uplift number was given.
Well today, Sunday the 8th February, the new replacement cooker arrived, all packed as it left the factory, it was unpacked and when I inspected it I found the following: 1) 4 of the timer buttons jammed in when pressed. 2) There was creases in the metal case sides (ok this would not be seen when fitted but thats not the point)
The laughable thing is that these come with a slip of paper stamped all over giving the inspections and quality controls, Cannon is part of the Indesit group. Third on coming Tuesday, fingers crossed.
