Advantages: A very good cooker. Disadvantages: Not a lot.
..., and you do not catch yourself on it as the handles are curved. Unfortunately this model comes in boring white or black only, and has the obligatory basic one year guarantee. Many makers now offer more than a single year, usually two at least.

I like this cooker, everything seems easy to use, the two ovens are a practical idea, and save fuel. The appearance of the cooker is very stylish. I must say that this particular model, is no longer being made, so I will not give current prices, however, the ones they do make seem identical to mine.

Advantages: Two Ovens Disadvantages: I can't think of any!
...I was 'forced' to buy a new cooker a couple of years ago following the total collapse of mine. This total collapse also involving the almost non-cooking of the previous Christmas dinner.
I was very fussy - my previous one (although now very old) had been 'top of the range' - and mainly chosen because it was black and stainless steel! I DIDN'T want a white one - or a brown one, or a green or blue one. It wasn't easy to find black as it had gone out of fashion.
However, the Cannon Chester was black and silver and had the glass lid I craved! It was also almost half the price my earlier one had been - but that was to it's advantage as well.
It has all the main assets expected from a gas cooker. That is: four rings - (2 fast, 2 slow), two ovens, the main at the bottom with an interior light - big enough to cook a turkey...

Advantages: Good styling, full of features Disadvantages: Poor grill pan handle design, top enamel finish; Glass top cleaning fussy
...If you want a 500mm (50cm) gas cooker, with good style, features and price there are few to choose from. The Oakley fitted all our criteria and duly arrived crated from Canon. Everything looked good, until we lifted the glass lid. A minor defect - one plastic button was smashed and the lid was not quite closing straight.
Went ahead with installation, screwed on the grill pan handle and ordered a spare button. Everything else worked well - hob and grill light quickly from the mains powered ignitor. Luxury to have auto-firing cooker as soon as you turn the dial and an interior light to watch your roast browning.
An efficient Canon engineer fitted new glass a few weeks later. Our only other comments to him: amount of condensation pooling under the oven door - this is 'typical' ; poor low grill setting - 'cannot adjust,' we are told...
