Owning two of these within four months was a horrible experience.
Both have now been returned to Cannon as being not fit for purpose.
Both suffered from identical faults. The top oven took 45 minutes to get to a stable temperature which was 50deg F below the set temperature. Food was burned at the back and uncooked at the front.
On the first the cooling fan failed to function until it unjammed itself, noisey on both cookers. The shut off flap for the top oven on both failed to operate. A known fault on this (Chestergate) range of cookers.
Ater two visits from the Hotpoint service engineer our patience was exhausted.
We now own an Electrolux EK6047XN which so far is excellent and recommended.
