    Advantages Advantages Crisp, clear image and wonderful image stabiliser.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive and could be waterproofed.

    Canon are famed for the quality of their optical equipment and rightly so. I bought these smart binoculars for my Mum over 15 years ago for her 70th birthday. An avid birdwatcher, 10 X 30 are ideal for this purpose and the image stabiliser function which basically eliminates the "shakes" greatly increased her enjoyment Now, sadly her eyesight is failing and I am the main user. So what qualities do these "bins"posses that both Mum and now myself appreciate? A crisp image every time, even in failing light without any blurry bits round the edges. The weight and size.
