I bought the BJC-50 as I wanted a small printer that would go into my case with my laptop computer for when I went into hospital. This printer was an ideal size for that purpose. I take it into hospital whenever I go in now so that I can keep up to date with any correspondence. It is very convenient as it can be charged and then used off battery leaving you with one less cable to cope with. One problem I did have was with my paper not feeding through straight but recently I solved this by buying the ASF-50 which is the auto sheet feeder designed for this printer. Now my paper all comes through straight, no more wonky letters from me. One other disadvantage of this printer is that it is quite noisy when printing colour. I like the cartridge containers as they are simple to use and also quite clean, no inky fingers unlike some other print cartridges. All in all it is a good buy if you are looking for a compact reliable printer.

I can't figure out why some printers print straight and others do not. You'd think it would be a simple matter of making sure the guiding panels are put in place but this doesn't always seem to be the case! You'd also think that the designers would have thought of this in the first place!
