I have tried a few printers in my time and would have probably tried a few less had any of them been really good. I have tried Epson but only because it came packaged with a computer and, if my expereince is anything to go by there must be a lot of angry ex customers out there. The quality was Ok when it was working but they do seem to be programed to go wrong just when they run out of guarantee. I would not mind so much if it was economic to carry out repair finding the best, safest, and cheapest option was to put it in the bin.
I did have a Canon 2400 which I put to one side, pulled it out a year later only to find it still worked Ok. However, things had moved on and I wanted some better results. how? I compromised a little on quality, bought a BJC 6000, saved a lot of money, have Canon reliability, and a better inkjet replacement system which saves money in the long run.
Happy? Of course I am and I am sorry Canon for treating you so badly when you deserved better from me.
