i bought mine from canon about 4 years ago
i have printed hundreds of stuff off and it still is working as thought it is new
not had one problem at all with it

Advantages: cheap easy to use Disadvantages: the only disadvantagewith this is is shakes every thing when printing

features USB connectivity and reduced noise and operating ... ...to run for a long time on its ink tanks without the need for replacements
normally have to fill them about two times in three months
A 300dpi scan head is also available as an optional extra This drops into the tank well

magenta ink tank whicj cost £7.95
yellow ink tank which cost £7.95 more

purchasing the machine, even with what must be 50,000 pages printed by now. The colours are good and very true to the original artwork. We still use this machine for printing all our CD covers because the print quality is so much better than our newer CanonBJC-6200.
digression...THE CANONBJC-6200
While I'm on the subject, please don't confuse this machine with the newer BJC-6200. For the BJC-6200, Canon sorted out the paper handling problem (see below), but lost the print quality and managed to come up with the worst printer software I have ever seen (yes, even worse than the BJC-620). I also have a continuing problem with the BJC-6200's USB lead that Canon support have been unable to sort out.

We have used our CanonBJC-620 for printing: general letters, address labels, CD labels, CD inserts, floppy disk labels, T-shirt transfers ...

I did a lot of research before buying my printer & couldn't decide
whether to get this or the CanonBJC6200. After a lot of advice, I
heard that HP were longer lasting & so decided to go for this model.
After my last CanonBJC 10 manual feed printer, this HP was a big
improvement on speed and quality. It took me ahile to work out that
the printer needed to be calibrated before prinintg for the 1st time.
The print speeds are very fast, about 7 ppm colour draft. Draft quality
is good enough for a formal report. The printer gives a visual indication
of the ink level in each cartridge ...

I'm a 'proud' owner of Canon printers. I have 3 of it: Bjc-3200, Bjc-6200 and Canon s200. I was amazed on Canon's quality prints which 1 year after purchasing bjc-3200 without having problems. i bought another bjc-6200 and s200. Canon s200 prints nicely except for some occations during continuous printing, it sometimes prints incorrectly colored images. A 2880 x 720 dpi that works good on images and documents. Technically, their design is excellent and simple when it comes to paper feeds. load paper on back tray and prints come out at the front,less complicated in removing paper jams unlike other competitors front paper loading mechanism. when it comes to 'reliability' however..
2 years after using all 3 printers when one of which occured (BJC-6200) an error which indicates a WASTE TANK FULL (indicated by a specific number of blinking ...
