I have had this printer for a year and a half now, and it has proved to be a superb piece of kit. The quality of printing is very high, even on normal plain paper (i.e. not high-resolution paper), and then it is even better when using a photo-print cartridge. This printer also does not cost that much for the quality received. There are a few drawbacks though. If you want a high quality print, you have to wait for a while, the colour cartridges have 3 in one colours (so if one runs out, then you have to replace the entire cartridge). This is not good news because the cartridges are big (so you don't replace them often), but they also cost about £45 each. So far however, I have not had to replace them, and on average I print one high quality print a week. The heads need cleaning after about 3 months, but as far as I can see this is the extent of the drawbacks. The printer can print on acetate, many different kinds of paper, as well as fabric transfers. If you just want to use the black cartridge for text, it'll print at great speed, a page in about 6 seconds. The service that comes with it is good as well (I had to call out an engineer to fix the printer as something was not right, and the engineer removed a rubber band that had got stuck - to this day I still don't know how it got there, but anyway).... Overall, if you want good quality from an inkjet (so lasers are excluded), but don't use a printer daily, then I would say this is the printer for you. Hope this helps someone get some good value quality prints somewhere!!
