The Canon BJC7100 is one of the best ink jet printers on the market. It has a large footprint but it can produce excellent results, especially when using it for Digital photography,

It uses a 2 cartridge system, and a photo tank which is swapped, The printer is not particularly fast but the quality is well worth the wait.

Ink life is exceptional, with my black cartridge lasting about 8 months, and I do print a lot of black and white on this the colour one lasts just as long, they seem to be about three times the size of a normal cartridge.

Before I ordered mine I asked Canon to supply test prints from the printer, and I can say that they are real, they gave me three different ones on different paper, and I received the same results using the printer.

I would recommend this printer to anyone who is serious about digital imaging, scanners camera etc.
