Advantages: Value for money Disadvantages: Ink runs out quickly if printing a lot

I have found that the black ink runs out quite quickly, at my last count I got around 150 pages printed in the black ink before it ran out. Which is quite good if you are not using a printer too often. The colour ink I have not yet changed since I bought the printer (around 6 months ago) because I do not use it too often, apart from having to print out graphs and things.

The ink is easy to chage and on the actual printer there is only one buton, the reset button, which makes it all no nonsense and just simple to use. It is linked to the computer via USB cable, which again makes it really simple to use.
There are loads of good functions with it too, you have a counter which tells you how much ink you have left in both the black cartridge and colour cartridge and it gives you a warning when it is running low which is handy. You can also regulate the quality of the prints, but on normal it is really good, so on the economy level im uessing it would be perfect for scrap work and so on.
Its a good size, not too big and bulky, although when you buy it the box is quite big. Its neat, compact and even a little bit stylish! It fits on the desk pefectly and is a great little printer to use.
It prints at quite a good pace, I think its 6 pages per minute black and white, I have to admit it is a bit slow with the colour printing but it does give a good print. I had a Xerox printer before this one, but it was terrible in comparison, especially when you think of the value for money. I would definately recommend this, especialy if you need one for the kids or if you are a student.
Advantages: Cheap price and prints nicely, affordable ink catridges Disadvantages: error on waste tank full, prints discolored sometimes
I'm a 'proud' owner of Canon printers. I have 3 of it: Bjc-3200, Bjc-6200 and Canon s200. I was amazed on Canon's quality prints which 1 year after purchasing bjc-3200 without having problems. i bought another bjc-6200 and s200. Canon s200 prints nicely except for some occations during continuous printing, it sometimes prints incorrectly colored images. A 2880 x 720 dpi that works good on images and documents. Technically, their design is excellent ... ...later my history shall repeat (i still have those bjc--3000 and s200)
i'll be fair with canon as this is the only problem i've encountered, sadly it has no solution but to buy a new one

Advantages: Cheap, reasonable quality. Disadvantages: Color managment
...on the most subtile tones, but I´m guessing it´s not the inks, but the colour managment. The driver comes with a ICM colour profile, but it seems to flatten things out a bit. Generally, I would reccommend Canon S200 inkjet printer for it´s value for the money is good. ...

Advantages: cheap to buy, very cheap to run Disadvantages: crap output, slow
I bought this printer a couple of years ago. I got it from a local computer shop, they are known for not selling crap to their customers.
The printer is slowwwwwwww very slow. It will print at a decent speed, if you reduce the output to 300 x 300 dpi, but I bought the printer to print photos.
It has a 360 x 360 mode for photos, which will interpolate up to 2880 x 720 dpi, which is impossible for a printer of this size, so I stuck with the \"proper\" ... ...was fine, the pictures on glossy paper could be used in place of a picture from a film camera, however, there was a slight banding of the inks on pictures where the tones were a shade apart.
For example, I took a picture of a rock formation in strong sunlight, on the screen, the sedimentary lavers are distint, but on the paper, the inks had merged.
Bring me to inks... long time a bug-bear for inkjet users. I was surprised that Tesco and PC World ...
