I'm a 'proud' owner of Canon printers. I have 3 of it: Bjc-3200, Bjc-6200 and Canon s200. I was amazed on Canon's quality prints which 1 year after purchasing bjc-3200 without having problems. i bought another bjc-6200 and s200. Canon s200 prints nicely except for some occations during continuous printing, it sometimes prints incorrectly colored images. A 2880 x 720 dpi that works good on images and documents. Technically, their design is excellent and simple when it comes to paper feeds. load paper on back tray and prints come out at the front, less complicated in removing paper jams unlike other competitors front paper loading mechanism. when it comes to 'reliability' however..
2 years after using all 3 printers when one of which occured (BJC-6200) an error which indicates a WASTE TANK FULL (indicated by a specific number of blinking lights) and occurs when a counter in the nozzle reaches its factory limit. Its the only error i've had in its lifetime. To my horror, i found out in the internet that i'm not the only person which has the same problem, other people who purchased the same printer also had this problem arount 2 years of its use. No BJ catridge replacement could also fix this problem sadly it CANNOT be reset even if you know the reset codes. Their customer support insist that it is a catridges problem, so they've spent good money without any use.
What does this opinion got to do with s200? Well, the same thing will happen as i later found out in the internet.
Mistakes are not meant to be repeated, sooner or later my history shall repeat (i still have those bjc--3000 and s200)
i'll be fair with canon as this is the only problem i've encountered, sadly it has no solution but to buy a new one

I have a canon BJC-6200 too (see my op on Canon BJC 620). Now I'm worried! Your op is good, but you need a little bit more information about things like price, how long the cartridges last, etc.
