...The CannonBJC 4200 was a fairly good printer in its time. Now a days as newer models have been produced, it is falling well below standards. The quality of the print out is not particularly high quality and tends to be fairly slow. The ink cartridges need to be replaced regularly, which could be a problem if you have a large document to print out. However newer models from cannon are up to date and meet all modern specifications. I wouldn’t recommend this printer to you, instead go for a newer model....

...We have got the CanonBJC 4100 at home. This printer is old, but not too old. There is a Button for "Power" and another Button for "Resume" and there are two ligths for "Power on" and for "Error".
There are two arts for cartridges for the "COLOR BUBBLE JET PRINTER":
colored and black-and-white.
The colored cartridges are expensive, of course, but not too expensive.
The Canon print fast, I think and for my requirements is he enough.
You can put thin pages and thick pages in it.
But if you have this printer and if you print much, you must buy a new better printer.
Bye, Flasher88...

...I recently bought the CanonBJC 1000 after I was attracted by its cheap price. I only needed a printer for my university course and the cheaper the better as far as I was concerned. At just fifty pounds I am extremely happy with my purchase, the print quality is excellent both in black and white and colour. The printing speed is a little slow, four or five pages a minute in black and white around two in colour but hey who is in a rush. If your strapped for cash and need a printer then go for this one you will not be disappointed....

I've had this printer for about 4 years, which I think is a pretty impressive length of time. I don't use it every day, but it does get used regularly.
