The Bubble Jet i6500 is the wide format printer of choice for the graphics business or creative office. The fastest in its class, it offers outstanding quality and borderless photos up to A3+ size. Canon's Bubble Jet i6500 delivers outstanding quality on media up to A3+ size and remarkable speed. By combining advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology and 5 pl permanent drop size in all modes, it can print at resolutions of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. The result is greater definition, higher contrast and broader color range. It means that graininess is reduced to a minimum. The i6500 delivers up to 17ppm monochrome and up to 12ppm in color making it the fastest A3 inkjet out-of-the-box printer in monochrome. It will turn out a full-color A4 in 100 seconds at default settings. The fast speeds are the result of one-pass, bi-directional printing and an independent 5-motor drive system. This machine will also print borderless photos on 4" x 6", 5" x 7", A4, A3, and A3+ media. With an optional PostScript RIP solution graphic artists can make accurate contract quality proofs with the Bubble Jet i6500.
