...The canon s100 is a good value for money printer. It is plug and play so you just plug it into your USB port and that is it, you dont have to install drivers or restart your computer. As usual canon has made a brilliant printer. The canon s100 can print alot of pages in a small cartridge and is small and can be fitted into the smallest of spaces. The canon S100 is very stylish but also very reliable, it may not be able to stand up to laser printers or photo printers but it is less than a quarter of the price and for home use is all you will need unless you have exceptiponal circumstances. This printer takes about 1 minute to print 1 full page of text. It takes about 2 minutes to print a colour photo. The S100's ink cartirdges can be as little as £2 each and last for a long time, this if you ask me is brilliant valiue for money as some... Read review

...The Canon BJ-30 (currently around £20 on ebay)is one of the most durable little printers I have ever owned. Years ago I bought it and then when I moved house it was put in a box in the shed and I forgot about it (not because it wasn't a good little printer, but because I upgraded to a colour printer and this is a black ink only number). Recently, I bought a laptop to use when travelling (see my opinion on the Compaq Armada 74xx) and started researching portable printers to go with it. ...My printer had been playing up for a couple of months, I normally (99% of the time) only use it for printing in black for invoices, however I do occasionally print something off in colour and sometimes print a photo. It was missing one of the colours out now and again and so I decided it was time for a new one. Why Canon? My old printer was a Canon and although it was playing up it had served me well for about three years of constant use. I also think the design of the Canon printers is very good, I think they are far better to look at than most other makes and this is quite important when you are going to be looking at it everyday, sat on your desk.
