CP-300 is the latest compact addition to Canon's 'Direct Print' range, which enables production of photo-lab quality color prints without the need to connect to a PC. The Card Photo Printer CP-300 includes a rechargeable battery pack, which means you can print your photos, on the move!40% smaller lighter than previous Canon models, Canon's smallest ever direct printers offer ultimate portability. The new model is small enough to be kept in a drawer, yet stylish enough to look right at home in the living room. The Card Photo Printer has an optional car battery adapter (CBA-CP100), which powers the printer whilst on the move. The Card Photo Printer CP-300 also includes a lithium ion rechargeable battery pack, for printing without access to a mains power supply. Printing a photo on the Card Photo Printer CP-300 is simply a matter of connecting direct to a Canon digital camera via the camera's standard USB cable. A simple menu on the camera allows print size, type and quantity to be selected, and within approximately 85 seconds of selecting 'print', the process for a superb postcard size print is complete. Canon uses dye-sublimation technology to reproduce photo-grade tones. The Card Photo Printers build up full color images by merging three separate color layers; yellow, magenta and cyan. A durable, high-gloss finish is added with a final protective layer, resulting in prints that have the same look-and-feel and fade-resistant durability as traditional silver-halide photographs. This model offers a choice of bordered or borderless print sizes - the popular 6" x 4", credit card size, or mini-stickers. Personalized postcards are now possible within 2 minutes of taking a photo, with a postcard template pre-printed on the reverse of standard 6" x 4" media. The Card Photo Printer CP-300 works with all of Canon's direct-print compatible range of digital cameras. For those wishing to print from their computer, Windows and Macintosh drivers come as standard. For future compatibility, this model is designed to be ready for PictBridge.PLEASE NOTE: No further discount can be applied to this productProduct Description - Canon CP 300 - compact photo printer - colour - dye sublimationBattery - 1 x Lithium IonDimensions (WxDxH) - 17 cm x 12.3 cm x 5.5 cmForm Factor - PortableInterface - USBMax Media Size (Custom) - 100 mm x 148 mmMax Media Size (Standard) - 100 x 148 mmMax Resolution ( B&W ) - 300 dpi x 300 dpiMax Resolution ( Colour ) - 300 dpi x 300 dpiMedia Type - Photo paper, postcard, photo stickersPower - AC 120/230 VPrint Speed - Up to 1.42 min/page - colour - 100 x 148 mm ¦ Up to 1.17 min/page - colour - 89 x 119 mm ¦ Up to 0.67 min/page - colour - 86 x 54 mmPrinter Type - Compact photo printer - dye sublimation - colourSystem Requirements - Microsoft Windows 98, Apple MacOS 9.0 or later, Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition / Windows ME, Apple MacOS 9.2, Apple MacOS X 10.1, Apple MacOS X 10.2, Microsoft Windows 2000 / XPWeight - 0.9 kg
Advantages: Strong Disadvantages: Batteries don't last as long as I expected
This battery recharger is the best I've had so far. I bought the pack with the batteries and the charger and these batteries seem to last much longer (I use them for my camera and they last for weeks, when the previous ones I had would not last for longer than 10 days).
I have used different batteries than Cannon and it doesn't make much difference campared to the previous charger I had. This makes me think the rechargable Cannon batteries are much ... ...just makes its job normally (helping good quality batteries to last almost as long as they potentionally can). I said almost because they seem to take a bit longer, after a few months, to get fully charged. Anyway, they are much better than the Duracell ones I used to have.
After a few months the charger is still working properly. It's conservative design does not take any of it's best properties. Its easy to hide and light to carry with you.

This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the very short term. Although as with most products of this type, the value will deteriorate over time and should be able to get a cheaper version next year. It's a great device with... more
Travels with my 400D
I’ve been putting off writing this review for months and months. I’ve been waiting until I know just about as much about the camera as I possibly can, but I’ve come to the conclusion that this will never happen, more
