Advantages: Easy to fit, built in LED warning light Disadvantages: Expensive for 13ml capacity and is chipped
as you cant actually see it without opening up the printer cover and you get a warning on the computer anyway when the ink is low.
How many photos
********************
In normal use the inks last quite a long time, but if you are printing A4 photos at high quality then you get around 20 full A4 prints - I don't have an exact figure but it works out at around £1.00 for the ink for one A4 print. When you use cheap photo paper , you can get prints for around £1.20 wich is about 1/3 the price you would pay at a lab.
Photo quality
**************
This depends partly on the quality of paper used and the image resolution, but I use ASDAs own glossy photo paper on which the photos look pretty good. I have tried Canon pro paper that came with the printer and the results were even better, but probably not worth the extra money. The ink ...
Advantages: Long-lasting and fair priced Disadvantages: Printer does not recognize full ink cartridge
I purchased this product about 2 months ago for my Canon Pixma MP140 and I love it. It has produced high-quality prints that have no lines or blots for my school work thus far. And let me tell you, I have done lots of printing with it. I like this product because it is a lot larger than other ink replacements. The Canon PG 40 has 12 mL compared to other ink replacements that only have between 5 to 7 mL. As well, it is able to replace many other ink cartridges and for a relatively cheap price as well. The only problem I have had so far is that my printer flashes a low ink signal even though the cartridge is full. All in all, I would suggest buying this product if one is in need of a replacement cartridge. It is relatively cheap and has thus far lasted a long time with no problems whatsoever. A very good product indeed. ...
Advantages: Low price, official cartridges, decent photography paper Disadvantages: Paper isn't intended for everyday printing
Usually when I need to get more paper or cartridges I buy them separately, as they never seem to run out at the same time. This time, however, they ran out simultaneously, and I found this pack to buy, which beat the combined price of other options I could find. The cartridges are entirely standard, but if anything appeared to last a little longer than the non-HP ones I bought last time.
It was not made clear when I bought it that the enclosed paper is photography paper, so I had to buy more paper to use for everyday printing tasks. For my photographs, however, the included paper was of very good standard, and I would be happy to show off my photos on it.
If you need to buy paper and ink together, this is a good package, assuming you own a compatible printer. However, if you want thin paper for everyday printing, you'd be better off ...
