Manufacturer's product description
The Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 is a photographic printer that will definitely change the way people view digital photography, delivering high-quality credit card-sized photographs that look and feel like a traditional print. By directly connecting one of Canon's latest digital cameras to the compact printer it is now possible to produce high quality credit sized photographs in seconds. Printing is easy to do, simply load the credit-card sized media and connect the cable to the camera then switch on the camera and the print menu makes it simple to choose the prints the user desires. In less than 1 minute a perfect full color print is delivered, completely dry, ready to be passed around family or friends. Colors are rich and vibrant with the CP-10 using 300dpi dye sublimation printing providing pin sharp detail. The Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 offers instant results. No more waiting for laboratory prints to be developed, no more expensive films and no more expensive reprint charges. The photograph is finished with a hardwearing scratch- and fade-resistant overcoat that protects it for years to come, ensuring the prints outlast the memories. The Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 can also deliver the same incredible quality prints with a white border that look just like 'old-fashioned' photographs. For the ultimate in fun and sharing the CP-10 Card Photo Printer can even make sticker prints - eight mini stickers from one image. The printer builds up a full color, highly detailed image by merging three separate color layers: yellow, magenta and cyan, which are combined to give incredibly accurate quality and color depth to the finished print. The Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 connects simply and quickly to any "Direct Print"-mode Canon digital camera including the Digital IXUS 300, the PowerShot A10, and the PowerShot A20.
Advantages: Small, easy to use, cheap ink and photo paper. Disadvantages: Sometimes prints dark images.
...This is the small Canon Selphy printer great for home picture printing. This small printer as you can see its stylish small and compact, it has small LCD screen and various different memory card slots (MS, SD, CF) and it has a couple of plugs to plug up your digital camera. Prints absolutely amazing quality but the only problem I have come across is some images when printed tend to come out a bit darker, so I usually have to lighten up the image on my PC before I print them. But other than that its a fantastic printer, easy to use and the ink and photo paper is really cheap and the ink lasts quite a while, its a great little printer which saves you money on getting your pictures printed somewhere else....

Advantages: Good Quality, portable, fast prints, simple Disadvantages: unknown
...enough to use the camera, let alone my printer, so that's was the problem I had to solve with less then £80… and so my search for the compact printer was on.
And I found one. Reduced in a sale, the Canon Selphy CP600 cost me £60, and it was definitely £60 well spent. On my daughters birthday I got to take over and try the thing out, and it was very good.
The Canon is designed to print photos up to 4 by 8 inches, and the speed of print was brilliant, about 70 seconds for a 4 by 6 inch borderless photo. In addition to offering good speed, it prints good looking output and comes with a rechargeable battery for full portability.
So of course I had to steal it and take it to work (as I do with all my children's gadgets) to have a good little play so I charge up the battery (it takes roughly 2hr 30mins to charge from flat) and I took along my...

Advantages: Fantasic photo-lab quality Disadvantages: A little pricey
...What a great printer! I bought one 12 months ago for my Canon Ixus digital camera (although this printer works with any "PictBridge" compatible camera) and haven't looked back.
I'm sure if I added up the price of the printer and the paper/ink packs then it would take a very long time before I started saving money not using photo labs, but it's good fun to use and handy being able to print photos whenever you want (e.g. if a relative comes round and wants a copy).
The printer is a real no-brainer to use with a PictBridge-compatible camera - just plug the camera into it and press the "print" button (it can also be plugged into a PC and used like a conventional printer).
The paper/ink packs cost around £10 for 36 prints, and you'll soon see why they are sold in packs. The printer is a "dye sublimation" printer, and works like...

All I can say is the best photo printer ever. It is so small you can take it anywhere you go so if you are on holiday you can take a photo and print it there. Also what I like about this printer is the way the photopaper is special. The photopaper is 6x4 more
