Advantages: Same Canon quality we have come to expect, great ISO capabilities. Disadvantages: Buttons can get fiddly in the cold.
when shooting with this camera is the frame rate in continuous shooting mode. At just 3.4fps up to 170 Jpegs, is not great when compared to similar models and is not sufficient for getting the right moment at fast moving sports. 5fps would have been more acceptable at this price band. The ISO is where this camera shines; it goes right up to 3200 expandable to 12800. As it uses Canons renowned sensor system images are more than usable even when you shoot at the thick end. The LCD screen used on this camera is 3.0? and also includes live view, which can only be expected. This screen is more than large enough on this relatively small body. Setup

This printer comes inside a box which is heavily packaged and first off all you get the power cable. The cable is wrapped with this tie back but the problem is that when you unwind the cable you notice how it wants to try and curl back up again so you do need to try and straighten it out as soon as you can.
You receive the disc which has the drivers on which you need to install on the computer otherwise you have no way of printing items off without it.
There is nothing else inside the box besides the cartridges which are easy to insert and use. The disc is good because it is so simple to install the items onto the computer and this takes about a minute to do.
You do not get a connection to the computer though so you do need to purchase one yourself and many websites ...
Advantages: Lots of zoom, lots of pixels, sturdy Disadvantages: No internal memory, flash pops up whether you want it to or not
find it less fiddly when you are taking photos and need a quick battery change.
d) SD-HC memory cards. I already have several of these for my DSLR which is convenient and means any of my cards can be used in both of my cameras.
e) HD video capability of 1280x720. This wasn't majorly important but with the memory cards being so cheap then it's a bonus to have the capability of recording video. Quite good when you are on holiday or at a family gathering and want to record some video but don't want the hassle of a separate camcorder.
Finally, I took advantage of a Canon promotion which gave £40 cashback on this particular model. I'd already decided on this camera so the cashback was a nice bonus. All in all, it cost £234.55 including delivery from Jessops.com.
After a few weeks of use I'm finding that I really like this camera ...
