I've been totally impressed with this scanner ever since I got it out of the box. It was plugged in and ready to go in seconds, and has delivered more than my expectations, with ultra sharp, colour perfect images. It's fast and silent in operation, and the software which comes with it is both simple to understand and easy to navigate. But the icing on the cake is its ability to scan both negatives in strips and single slides. It does this to perfection and even reverses the image from negative so you can see it properly before scanning, with the film strip being separated into separate images in preview. My archives of negs and slides from the past are now accessible, and I'm really pleased I chose this one, which was cheap enough to fit any budget.

Sounds great and confirms what I though when reading the spec that this is a good scanner. I am going to buy one on this review as it re-inforces my thoughts

Interesting that it makes a good job of slides and negs - that's very good for a scanner of this price. David
