This is another bargin I got for knock down money from a well known auction site! The wife and i were looking for a scanner, we have always had canon printers so we brought it (£24.98 brand new inc P&P). Installation was quick and easy and being USB powered, there is only one cable to connect. The unit is very compact and can be used flat or upright thanks to the detachable baseplate. 3 simple buttons on the front of the scanner can be re programed to you own choice for scanning straight into a folder, direct copy to printer, or all sorts of other things! The software is very easy to use and has caused no problems in the past year of use as has the unit itself which does not get used that often, so its re assuring to know that when you do want to use it, it will work first time. Although canon do have a great after sales service via email so any little problems that may occur are sorted quickly. The quality of the scan for such a cheap scanner is superb, although for the best quality scan it does take a long while to fully scan and upload to your pc, but if like me you only use a scanner every now and again, it really is worth the money. So for all of you who want a cheap scanner but good quality, this in my opinion is the one to go for.
