If you are looking for ease of use, then this is the one for you! One of the main advantages of this particular scanner is the slimmer design over others on the market. scan quality is outstanding and fairly quick. One of the other useful features is the software supplied by Cannon allowing you to do a variety of adjustments to your image BEFORE sending it to your PC. Another useful feature is the scanners ease of integration into everyday programmes such as e-mail. A major bonus of the cannon system over some of its rivals is that the system is entirely powered by the USB cable eliminating the need for extra power sockets. This unit is not the cheapest on the on the market or the dearest, but as a mid-range unit the LiDE25 offers excellent value for money in terms of price verses features and overall performance.
