CanoScan LiDE 100 - I Love My LiDE

Advantages: Fabulous quality for scanned documents, both colour and B&W
Disadvantages: Somewhat slow when scanning at highest resolutions

various ways. You also get MP Navigator EX which is Canon?s standard application for the CanoScan LiDE 100 range which works with Windows versions 2000, 7, Vista and XP amongst others and allows you to edit your scanned documents/images as well as a host of other features which I don?t feel the necessity to include here. You also have Canon ScanGear included on the software CD which is a very basic utility for scanning your items if you don?t want all the additional features offered by the other software packages included. I find my scanner very reliable - not once have I had to rescan something because it got an error halfway through and it's barely audible, i.e. pretty silent compared to my previous home scanner (which was a Mustek something or other). TECHNICAL STUFF * The CanoScan LiDE 100 is a flatbed scanner which uses ...

Easy Scanning with Canon CanoScan LiDE 25

Advantages: ease of installation, good resolution, value for money, easy of use, great design
Disadvantages: speed in scanning

I have Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 at home. I have used this scanner since 2006 and got no problem with this scanner. Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 can be installed easily and can be operated even for beginner. It doesn't need an adaptor. The power supply comes from one USB port. CanoScan LiDE 25 has a good design. It is very slim and light, so you can bring it easily wherever you go. This is not an expensive scanner in my country, but it has a good quality in scanning results. The scanning process is a weakness of this scanner. It needs maybe 2 minutes for one page scanning. Colour sensitivity of this scanner is good. It means the result and the object of scanning have almost same quality. Overall Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 deserves to be recommended for anyone who needs a cheap scanner with a good result. ...

Review of Canon CanoScan LiDE 25

CanoScan - great quality scans at the touch of a button

Advantages: Quick, easy to use, quiet, great quality scans
Disadvantages: Fairly expensive

The Canon CanoScan is a great all-round flatbed scanner. It is a good size (25cm x 36cm x 4cm) to enable all regular scanning, whilst not taking up unnecessary desk space. It has a resolution of 4800dpi x 4800 dpi, which results in great quality scans, of both black and white or colour documents/images. Whilst I have been rather let down by other scanners, this one is really easy to use and gives fantastic results. It is easy to scan in regular sheets/photos, but the lid also allows you to scan notebooks etc. Although other scanners I have used have allowed you to do this, the results have not been so good; often having the lid slightly ajar results in bleached patches of the scanned document, due to light getting in. However, I have personally not suffered any problems like that with this scanner. When scanning documents, text comes ...
