As scanner experiences go, my use of this CanoScan has been good. It sits on my desk taking up very little space and looking very good. Many of my friends point out how nice it is and are suprised at how cheap it is.
The bundled software seems simple enough to use, but at the same time offers no extra thrills. The buttons on the front allow quick use of the featues (scan, copy, email). When doing repetitive work such as scanning a collection of photo's, this can be very handy. It isnt that quite but, that doesnt matter too much to me. The colour seems true, and the resolution range is more than adequate for home use.
This is a well made product all the simple things done well. It's good looking too.

Good Op, thanks for the info :) I have an excellent Canon i850 printer (which I have reviewed on Ciao) and I have been looking for a decent Canon scanner to partner with it. Cheers, Dave.
