Advantages: Fast, Large, Effective Disadvantages: None so far
...I've been into digital photography for a while now (around 6 years) and have seen in grow from the high end being 1.2 MP to what is is today (some in excess of 32 MP). Back in the day (a Wednesday in fact), my trusty 64MB card got me by soundly. This is not the case anymore as I am the proud owner and operator of a Canon EOS XT Digital Rebel 6.0MP. I recently bought one of Kingston's 2GB flash cards and have been incredibly pleased with my results and experience overall. It is a very fast card and the extra space is a must. I would highly recommend this card....

...This is a very good value card - compactflash has been the most reliable over the years, I currently use a Canon 300d and use both the standand Sandisk cards and also the Ultra Sandisk card.
I have found that this card is superfluous to what I need, the speed is more than capable for the camera (and 99% of all others) There is no need to purchase the more expensive 'Ultra' product unless you have a very fast camera, such as the Canon 1D.
Features:
1. It is Available in 7 capacities: 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB

3.High storage capacity
4.Non-volatile solid-state; no moving parts maximizes battery power. Data is not lost when power is turned off
5. Operating shock rating of 2,000Gs, equivalent to a 10-foot drop to the floor
6.Compatible with all digital cameras, handheld PCs...

Advantages: compact, many picture options Disadvantages: no case included, slow to take photos
...I bought the Ixus V as it was the smallest available
digital camera at the time with the range of features
I wanted. The picture quality is excellent, although
it can be slow to take pictures and then with the
long exposure time in low light, longer still. The
video function, which can take up to about 15 seconds
of footage, has actually been very useful - I never
thought I'd use it!
The camera only comes with an 8Mbcompactflash - it is
worth upgrading this when you buy the camera, I bought
a 64MbCF at the time and have never filled it before
being able to upload photos. For xample, on medium
resolution and compression, you can fit about 230 images
on 64Mb.
Battery life is variable - when new I could get a
maximum of about 90 photos with flash and the
display on. There is a power save mode which turns
off the camera after...

Having bought this card to be used in Canon EOS 20D & 40D digital cameras they are extremely rapid and much better than the lower speed Sandisk Compact Flashes or other makes. The cameras have not as yet had to stop shooting to allow the card to catch up more
I bought this card along with my Olympus e-500 camera as it was recommended by the seller from whom I bought it. The recommendation was quite good as the card was relatively inexpensive and is very quick writing to the card, there is little if any... more
