CanonDCC-90 Soft Case - my review
CanonDCC-90 is the official soft case for the Canon camera models S2, S3 and S5. There isn't really too much to say about this soft case but I'll do my best.
I own a Canon digital camera S5 IS and since the size of this camera is quite weird (not as big as Reflex cameras but neither small enough to fit in common camera cases) I found very hard to find a proper case for it. What stopped me from buying the original case by Canon was it's price. As a matter of fact the cost is £14.55 at the lowest (on amazon.co.uk) while generally can be purchased around £17-25 everywhere else. Also I could hardly find any picture of it online and they are impossible to find in shops so I didn't really fancied spending such an amount of money for something I couldn't even see properly. I have just brought a laptop to do some word processing at home. It wasn't a very expensive one, but I wanted to take good care of it so it wouldn't get dirty or scratched.
When I brought the laptop I asked the shop assistant if they sold any carryingcases and he showed me a couple of them. The first one felt very cheap and didn't feel as if it would last for very long and it also felt that it would rip easy at the seams.
So I asked him if there where any more to look at and he told me that there where a few others but they where more expensive. He produced this Toshiba carryingcase and I instantly knew from the look of it that it was more substantial and a better quality material.
It was £25.99, which was more than I wanted to pay for a case but I knew that if I brought the cheaper one then it wouldn't have lasted as long ...
Advantages: Great for protecting your laptop Disadvantages: None!
Reason For Purchasing:
This has been a really great Notebook, or in my case, Laptop carrying bag, that I have used for over a year. I bought it to protect my laptop, whenever I was not using it and for carrying it around in. I have now given it to my daughter, as I have a newer pull along one. This one though, is suitable for storing your laptop or notebook in when indoors, but I would not recommend it for travelling, as it is not that padded enough for protection really.
I bought this Case Logic Case online, as it worked out a lot cheaper than some stores where selling it at, and the price was good for it's quality I thought. I have had it over a year now, used it everyday and it stills looks like the day I bought it, so in my opinion, it has lasted really well indeed!
