Well as you probably already know, Canon is a worldwide company and is great for it's cameras and camcorders in particular. I too like canon and also have a digital camera as i have previously reviewed before. They are a well trusted company and sell fantastic products to suit all of our needs and this camcorder does just that.
This is the Canon DC 100. It's picture quality is astounding when capturing those precious memories you'd like to keep and even when taking photographs with this. The lens has a massive 25x optical zoom lens, which really is incredible, Widescreen high resolution recording and 2.7-inch Widescreen LCD display panel.
This DC100 model is really easy to use and in particular suits those people who are just starting out at filming- whether that's a career or you're recording proffesional home videeos. And it is at such an affordable price and can be bought as little as £275.

The camcorder records directly onto DVD which is great because it means you can isert the disk into a DVD player and watch it straight away on your television set. The Canon DC100 camcorder accepts the three-inch DVD-R/-RW discs, which can store up to 60 minutes of video (120 minutes on a double sided disc) and are compatible with the vast majority of home DVD players. And 120 minutes is quite decent. The great thing about it being in digital format means that you can easily find scenes and places in your video that you want to rather than rewinding and fast forwarding to the bit you're trying to find.

This canon camcorder also allows you to take wide screen high resolution 16:9 recordings, which appears to be of a great quality on your widescreen TV and it will fill up the screen as well as being clear and having a great clarity to the picture as well as plenty of detail. This camcorder delivers a superior quality and the camcorder includes a 2.7 inch widescreen display panel which makes it so much easier to visualise your end movie.

Unfortunately you may not get any accesories for this camera so you may need to buy them separately, depending on where you buy it from. Fortunately for me, i bought it off a friend who already had numerous accessories. There are many accesories you can buy for this camera if you didn't get them with the camera or want some more accessories and below are some of the main things you can buy. There is the:
Canon Battery BP 208 - 850mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. I imagine this would be included but i am not entirely sure.
Canon Batteyr charger - i also would imagine this is included
This camcorder as previsously stated is available at a stunning price of just £275. I highly reccomend this camera even though it may be slightly bulky but it obviously depends on what you are used to. I tend to prefer the smaller camcorders but this one is greatly priced and certainly is affordable.
Although make sure you look around on the internet properly before buying because some places just seem to rip you off for example i recently went onto the curry's website and they seem to be selling this camcorder for £345 which is a huge rip off so make sure you do your research before you buy- saves you a lot of cash.
