I owned an Ixus 50 and was generally impressed with the picture quality and ease of use and build quality but when this camera was stolen, I spent a lot of time comparing compact cameras. I recently purchased one of these (second hand) and I must say, I don't feel a slight bit disappointed. The 7MP camera is immaculate in its capture, the menu is very easy to work and personalise, and the camera itself is a lot lighter than quite a few I've used.
