Excellent Printer From Canon
Review of Canon PIXMA iP4600 by  johnny040676

Advantages: Excellent Print Quality, Fast Printing, Reasonable Price
Disadvantages: None

...My printer had been playing up for a couple of months, I normally (99% of the time) only use it for printing in black for invoices, however I do occasionally print something off in colour and sometimes print a photo. It was missing one of the colours out now and again and so I decided it was time for a new one. Why Canon? My old printer was a Canon and although it was playing up it had served me well for about three years of constant use. I also think the design of the Canon printers is very good, I think they are far better to look at than most other makes and this is quite important when you are going to be looking at it everyday, sat on your desk. Another reason is the fact that the ink cartridges are much more affordable than some other makes, I once had a Hewlet Packard printer and required a second mortgage everytime they... Read review

Canon MP 460 printer
Review of Canon Pixma MP460 by  kindlyraccoon

Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: poor photo prints

...to print over 50 different photos. All of them were left looking like everyone had freckels and skin tones were next to useless. Definatly not ones you want to show anyone. Even when put through a cleaning cycle there was no difference. On the bright side, when you printed text using only black ink it was crisp and very clear right down to no 8 font size. Apart from the nice looking screen area it has nothing to excite me. After using the machine for a week I have took it back to the shop, why, because of the banding, lack of colour depth and a sqeek on the slide rail when the cartridges are going across. So not really impressed with this one. I would stay clear and pay more for a good printer. Canon has failed on this one I think.... Read review

Canon PG 40
Review of Canon PG 40 - ink tank (PG-40) by  jackson8

Advantages: Long-lasting and fair priced
Disadvantages: Printer does not recognize full ink cartridge

...I purchased this product about 2 months ago for my Canon Pixma MP140 and I love it. It has produced high-quality prints that have no lines or blots for my school work thus far. And let me tell you, I have done lots of printing with it. I like this product because it is a lot larger than other ink replacements. The Canon PG 40 has 12 mL compared to other ink replacements that only have between 5 to 7 mL. As well, it is able to replace many other ink cartridges and for a relatively cheap price as well. The only problem I have had so far is that my printer flashes a low ink signal even though the cartridge is full. All in all, I would suggest buying this product if one is in need of a replacement cartridge. It is relatively cheap and has thus far lasted a long time with no problems whatsoever. A very good product indeed.... Read review
