The Canon Ixus 100 IS is the successor to the Ixus 85 IS model, now with 12.1 megapixels instead of the old 10. The 2.5" screen is retained, as is the optical viewfinder and the 3x zoom capability, but the Ixus 100 IS is packed with new features.

Well as you probably already know, Canon is a worldwide company and is great for it's cameras and camcorders in particular. I too like canon and also have a digital camera as i have previously reviewed before. They are a well trusted company and sell fantastic products to suit all of our needs and this camcorder does just that.
This is the Canon DC 100. It's picture quality is astounding when capturing those precious memories you'd like to keep and even when taking photographs with this. Canon continues to be a product of the successful Pixma portable inkjet printers with iP100Canon ink and the number to be doubled to a maximum resolution of 4800x1, 200dpi color. Created to provide data backup for Canon Hard Disk Drive and Flash Memory camcorders, the DW-100 allows you to connect to compatible Canon camcorders to download video and burn AVCHD or Standard Definition DVDs. Still images captured in your compatible Canon camcorder can also be sent to the DW-100 and from them a "photo movie" can be created. The DW-100 will also play back the AVCHD discs created in the burner on an HDTV monitor through your compatible camcorder.
