I recieved the Canon Digital IXUS 400 over a year ago as a gift and I was over the moon, this camera is not only small enough to fit into a ladies handbag but the quality and clarity of the pictures it produces is amazing. I know very little about cameras but I worked in a newspaper and photolab for four years proccesing and doing colour touch-ups on very many professional photos so I can tell quality and this camera still ceases to amaze me. I have recently been to florida to a wedding of which I took my Canon IXUS 400. I spent most of the day following the photographer around to get the perfect shot for my photo album. When we arrived back in the uk I had the photos developed for the Bride and Groom as a gift as they had to wait weeks to recieve their official photographs. When they finally recieved their photographs, they compared the two, they were so impressed with mine, the clarity of my photo's were perfect, the colour was sharp, they decided to save themselves abit of money and stuck with most of my pictures and very few of the photographers.Another very exciting plus for the canon IXUS 400 is that you are able to blow the pictures up to A3 size without loosing much quality. I have blown pictures up before with dissapointing results, but when I blew a picture up that I had taken on holiday the quality was outstanding, it really looked like it was a professional photo, and I can tell you it has nothing to do with my photography skills I am affraid all credit must be given where its due to the very sleek Canon IXUS 400. It is an all round sleek dynamic camera that is extremely easy to use, even if you have no idea about photography, its a fantastic point and shoot camera with outstanding results, you will never be disapointed at the quality, you can't go wrong, and the hard casing is great incase you drop it, I have dropped my camera by mistake and not a scratch.
