Advantages: Slim, excellent pictures, rapid start up, plenty of features Disadvantages: Bespoke battery, which button do I press?
...have been dropped!).
The Canon was of a similar price to the Fuji and has a similar specification (6 megapixel, 3xoptical zoom (the Fuji was 4x). I'd always been impressed by the Fuji's performance but the Canon blows it away! For a start it is a lot more compact slipping easily into my jacket pocket. When it comes to taking a shot the Canon is up and ready within a second of pressing the "on" button. Ok, I haven't timed it but this is the first ... ...will drive you crazy.
Canon have sacrificed the viewfinder for a large screen that nearly fills the back of the camera. Personally I prefer this but if you want a viewfinder then this camera isn't for you.
The camera is packed with features and customisable settings (if you're of a mind to, you can even set the shutter sound to bark like a dog!) I mentioned earlier how quickly you can get up and running with the camera and with auto settings I'm ...

Advantages: large screen, easy to use, angle sensitive screen Disadvantages: quite heavy, large screen leads to high risk of breakage
This camera is an absoloute joy to use. I love the extra large viewfinder screen, which, in the \"view photos\" mode is sensitive to the angle at which it is held.
The camera settings are easy to navigate, with both easy to use manual adjustments, allowing you to change the exposure, light settings, colour settings and the way in which the camera is focused and pre -set options for night settings, for talking pictures of kids and pets, for portrait ... ...macro setting. It is possable to take pictures of various sizes and quality, with three picture quality settings and 6 size settings, including widescreen view.
the camera has a self timer, which can be set to up to 30 seconds, and can take multiple photos (even when taken using the self timer)
the camera also has a video record mode, which records videos in two different sizes(640x480 or 320x240pixels) and two different qualities (30 or 15 fps). ...

Advantages: Excellent quality photos, High resolution Disadvantages: Zoom quality
My sister purchased this camera from a photograph shop in Belfast. So far i am impressed with the quality of the photographs which have been taken, but there are a couple of things i must warn about before you buy this. The menus are not simple to navagate through, and changing the settings of the photos, i.e. size and quality is also hard to find. But in saying that, every new toy takes a while to get used to! The battery drain on the camera is also ...

Advantages: Nice Sleek Camera, Great Pictures, 3 in LCD Screen, easy features Disadvantages: Red Eye
...pounds.Picture quality as said by canon is amazing by this camera. It has 3X optical zoom and 4 x digital zoom. Total of 12X zoom you get with this. When you take a photo with a white background the picture quality comes better than the whittish background.
Really nice qualities of picture.
Red eye reduction is nearly good. But they have a software provided to remove the red eyes which is also easy to use. It detects in the auto mode and auto corrects ... ...the red eye reducation which is also easy to handle.
There are lot shading availalble like black & white, browinsh shades. Video can also be taken. And qualtiy is really good. But the usage of the flash is bit limited in video.
Overall very very good camera. ...
